On the BEST LOCATION IN BUDAPEST, at the ANDRASSY AVENUE, close to any attraction of the city, we rent in a cultural heritage building a newly renovated and tastefully furnished two bedroom apartment. The apartment is on two level with two featuring double bed, with one double sofa-bed in the living room (1st level Living room, Kitchen, Bathroom, Toilette; 2nd level bedroom and a second loft bedroom opened o the living room below).
It is equipped with a washing machine, dishwasher, TV and Wifi, fully equipped for self-catering (oven, stove, microwave) kitchen and a Nespresso Coffee Machine too!!! Bed linen and towels welcome the guests. For babies we can provide babycot and highchair if ordered. The apartment is located on the courtyard, so it’s completely quiet and soothing.
All what you need to visit Budapest starts from here!!! Stay right on the most elegant and lively shopping street of Budapest – which is UNESCO World Heritage Site. Cafes, bars, best brand shops, restaurants and public transportation, taxis, buses, metro, tram are all quickly accessible by foot.
Nowhere else can you take the atmosphere of Budapest better. The apartment is very suitable for short or long stays in Budapest.
Király street, the center of Budapest’s night life, is just few minutes walk away, offers plenty of bars and cafe’s. The well-known ‘Ruins Pubs’ are just few minutes walk away, such as Szimpla Garden, Instant Café, Ankert. The café quarter in Liszt Ferenc square it is just on the other side of the avenue!!! Just in front of you there is Bookcafé, located on the second floor of the former Paris Department Store, which currently houses the Alexandra bookstore. The café is decorated with beautiful chandeliers and a fresco-style ceiling, painted by Károly Lotz. His paintings also decorate the rooms of the Parliament building. The grandiose palace-like interior makes visitors feel like they are in the residence of an aristocrat who once used to live on Andrássy Avenue. What makes Alexandra Bookcafé particularly interesting is that both the building and its interior are fine examples of Art Nouveau, while the café is reminiscent of a renaissance-style ballroom, to be seen!!!. The Opera House is only a few steps walk away!!! and Stephen’s Basilica is also just few minutes (10 min) walk away, as well as, the Parliament and Vorosomarty Square.
The closest metro stations, 100 meters from the apartment!!! are Oktogon and Opera – metro line 1 (the Metro 1, officially: Millennium Underground Railway or M1, is the oldest line of the Budapest Metro system. It is the second oldest underground railway in the world!!!, and the first on the European mainland. It was built from 1894 to 1896. In 2002, it was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site). Same distance from the main Budpaest tram line (tram 4-6) as well as there are numerous busses which makes getting around super easy. A Bubi Station (Budapest Bike Sharing) is 30 meters far!!!
